Fantasia & Global Down Rods

The down-rods found on our website are manufactured by Fantasia for their fans but will also fit Global models as well. The rods currently come in 5 sizes which are 12, 18, 30, 48 and 72 inch in a wide variety of colours that will exactly match the ceiling fans own colour.

It is possible to adapt the rods by cutting them down to the size required and then drilling a small hole in the end. This practice is done by many of our customers.

Please be aware that the down-rods come in 2 different diameter sizes. 27mm and 22mm. If you are ordering a down-rod on the order page of a ceiling fan then this is automatically set as the right diameter rod. If you are ordering a rod on its own from the down-rod section of our website then please read the instructions on that page to discover which diameter you will need. Both diameters are available from the colour drop-down menus.

Please be aware that some Fantasia models also require a conversion kit when using a down-rod. This allows the fan to change from a flush fitting model to a down-rod model. You will find this information when ordering our down-rods.

Please note: all global fans require 22mm down rods. If you are unsure about which diameter or length you may require then please feel free to call or e-mail us.

If you are ordering a down-rod for a fan that you purchased from somewhere else (and you don't know the manufacturer's name) then please measure the diameter of your existing rod first before ordering. These rods are designed for Fantasia and Global fans and are not guaranteed to work with other models. Please remember that you have 7 days to return unwanted down-rods (in perfect condition) after which no refunds will be issued.
