Fan Advice
Fantasia
Fan motors are of silicon steel construction with double sealed
bearings. These features ensure long quiet, reliable, and maintenance
free operation. Fantasia motor housings are metal or wood construction.
All metal surfaces are powder coated or plated and lacquered,
which gives a permanent seal.
All
models operate on 230V / 50 cycle electricity supply. The power
rating of our fan motors ranges for 60 - 75 watts with 3 forward
and 3 reverse speeds.
Fantasia
fans can be operated in summer for a cooloing effect or reversed
in winter to re-circulate warm air trapped at ceiling level. (please
check item descriptions as some models are non-reversible)
Running
costs are less than 10p for 8 hours at high speed, which is less
than running a 100w light bulb for the same period.
Installing
ne of our fans is similar to installing a light but you must ensure
that the blade tips are at least 7 inches (18cm) from any obstruction.
Blade height should be at least 2.3m from the floor.
Ceiling
fans can be installed in any room (except bathrooms) In conservatories
or rooms with high ceilings a drop rod and conversion kit may
be required. Wall controls and remote controls are also available.
